Bringing a wash plant from concept to reality requires more than equipment.
It needs planning, site knowledge, the right partners, and a system built for the operation’s real needs. That’s what this project with Headlands Environmental was about.
From the beginning, the goal was not to force a one-size-fits-all solution into place. The goal was to find the right washing setup for Headlands operation, both for where the business is today and where it is headed next.

SEEING IT IN ACTION: RESEARCH TRIPS TO EUROPE AND THE UK
As part of that process, Frontline Washing Systems and Headlands Environmental travelled together to Europe and the UK to visit various washing installations. These trips were crucial, allowing the team to see different systems in action, compare layouts, and determine which plant best suited Headland’s materials and goals.
BUILT FOR FLEXIBILITY
Headlands Environmental needed a system that could handle both wet and dry materials. That requirement shaped every decision. The result:
- A modular system that launches with the right setup
- Room to expand as needs grow
- A build strategy designed for long-term performance
That modular approach matters. It offers an easier entry and leaves room for growth as needs change. It’s the project’s guiding philosophy: build for today’s needs, without limiting tomorrow’s potential.

MORE THAN A PLANT BUILD
This project is not just about installing a plant. It is about building confidence in what soil and slurry washing can look like when approached properly, with the right planning, the right partners, and a system designed for long-term success.
We’ll share more on the Headlands Environmental project soon, including case studies, insights, and documentary videos covering the build, commissioning, and plant performance.
